Why We Created Hearth

Neurodivergent people, in particular, those with an autism spectrum disorder, can experience significant stress and distraction in environments those who are "normal" find ordinary.
We aim to make those spaces more bearable.

What is Hearth

Hearth is a project designed to use overlays to make the immediate environment reflect a space the user finds comfortable.

How Does Hearth Work

Hearth is an an application for Meta Quest 3 that utilizes the headset's scanning and object detection technologies.
We hope to expand compatibility to include additional platforms in order to reach a broader audience

Open Source

We created Hearth because we wish we had it when we were children. It would have helped us tremendously. Whether to be in a room undistracted, or to step out of an uncomfortable environment and into a friendly place.
As such, it is vital Hearth be as accessible as possible: open source is a boon.
